It's an exciting day today for us as we launch the first single from our forthcoming EP 'THE WANTED ONE' on iTunes! 'The Wanted One' is a song about our most famous outlaw, Ned Kelly and his struggle to outrun the authorities and townsfolk who were on a mission to bring him to justice. Love him or hate him, Ned Kelly has a place in the history of colonial Australia and is a symbol of the rebel in all of us!

On this eve of Christmas and with our minds focused on the year ahead, we'd like to share some BIG news with you for 2012.... First up, our new EP 'THE WANTED ONE' will be released on iTunes on February 3. The title track first single from the EP will be available on iTunes on January 16. We will be announcing our EP launch show details in the new year so stay tuned...
For those of you in Melbourne who need a bit of a re-fuel, you can catch us live at THE ESPY (Gershwin Room) on Sunday January 15, from 5pm.
THE YEAR THAT WAS... As another year draws to a close we look back on 2011 as a testing, yet transitional period of our journey. We made the "big" move across Australia, and it definitely took us a while to settle in to our new surroundings. Nevertheless, 2011 will go down as a necessary turning point in Gasoline Inc's short history, for without it, we would not be heading into 2012 with such a strong sense of who we are and where we are going.
With that said, we are thankful to all who have supported us throughout 2011:
To our management team, Roy, Zac and staff at Zaccaria Artist Management - thank you for your guidance and constant belief in our passion.
To our good friend and radio plugger Frank Varrasso - thank you for your support and advice over the past year.
To Gerard Schlaghecke at Frontier Touring - thank you for sorting us out with gigs when we first arrived.
To Leigh Treweek at Street Press Australia - thank you for your insight and advice about venues around Melbourne.
A special mention must go out to our partners and families who took the leap of faith with us and moved their entire life to a new city. It has been a challenging year but we have made it through with all limbs intact!
An extra special mention goes out to the artistically talented and ever-understanding Claire Millar - thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your effort and time throughout the year. We are so pleased to have you on our team and without you so many things would not be possible.
Most importantly, to all our fans and friends, thank you for patiently sticking by us in 2011. Your constant support and energy is what drives us to be the best we possibly can be. Each and every one of you are part of the Gasoline Inc journey and 2012 is going to be a very exciting year indeed.

It's been a busy week and doesn't look like slowing down any time soon... Over the weekend we've been putting the finishing touches on the vocals to a killer new [untitled] track we started recording a few weeks ago with Phil at The Base Studios. Can't wait for you guys to hear it. You can see Gab in action here! We've also been rehearsing hard for our show this Thursday 18th August at The Evelyn.... hope to see you there :-)
